Basic Payment Scheme 2016, Open for Applications

The 2016 Basic Payment Scheme has opened for on line applications. All GLAS participants, Organic farmers and most tillage farmers must make an on-line application this year. They will not receive a paper application form in the post but the aerial photographs showing their 2015 land parcels will be posted out to them. The closing date is May 16th (one day later than usual as May 15th is a Sunday). The forms for trading entitlements are also available. There is a large demand for BPS entitlements from Yourcommonage clients, if you have surplus entitlements available for lease or sale please contact us at yourcommonage@gmail.com and we will get back to you with an offer. FOr the protection of both parties, all funds are secured in an escrow account until the transaction is completed.
